I specialize in many styles, from bold and colorful neotraditional to rich botanicals, my goal is to craft tattoos that resonate with your personal story and style. In my private studio, I prioritize a comfortable and personal experience, offering a space where each client can feel relaxed and heard. Whether it’s your first tattoo or an addition to your collection, I work closely with you to bring your vision to life.Every tattoo is a collaborative process, whether it’s your idea or mine, and I look forward to being a part of your journey in creating art that stays with you through the years to come.Let’s bring your ideas to life - one line, one detail, one story at a time. Before Your Appointment

I want to make sure your experience at Flower Power Tattoo is as comfortable and smooth as possible. Here are some tips and important information to help you prepare for your appointment!General Tips:Don't forget to bring a form of government issued I.D. to prove you are 18 or older! I have to scan this to go with your release form and cannot proceed with your appointment without it.Get a good night’s sleep, it’ll help your body handle the tattooing process and aftercare more efficiently.Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session.Avoid sun exposure, especially in the area to be tattooed! Sun damage causes a lot of harm to the skin and inflammation to the body, which will complicate the tattooing process. I’m unable to tattoo over sunburned skin for safety reasons - not only does tattooing over sun damaged skin run the risk of infection and other complications, but it’s a terrible experience for the client as well. If you plan to be in the sun before your appointment, please use an SPF cream of at least 30 and reapply according to the instructions, seek shade as often as possible, keep the area to be tattooed out of the sun as much as you can, and stay hydrated.Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Choose something you don’t mind getting messy, as ink or blood may transfer during the session.Lightly exfoliate and moisturize the area to be tattooed in the days before your appointment to help create the ideal canvas for your tattoo. You don’t need to go out of your way to shave an area, I’m happy to do so before we place your stencil as a part of my prepping process.Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session. Alcohol can thin your blood, which may impact the tattooing process and healing.Avoid excessive caffeine on the day of your appointment, as it can make some people jittery and affect the body’s response to the tattooing process. If you normally have a little cup of coffee as a part of your morning routine feel free to do so before your session, the key is to avoid overconsumption if your body isn’t used to it.Eat a full meal beforehand. If your session is long, feel free to bring snacks or plan to grab takeout from one of the local restaurants or cafes. If you have any questions about preparing or need clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out - I’m happy to help!Medications & Allergies:If you’re taking any medications or have allergies that could potentially interact with the tattooing process, please reach out to me before your session. Together, we’ll make sure everything is prepared to ensure your safety and comfort.Parking Information:The studio is located in downtown, where there’s plenty of on-street and off-street metered parking. I recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to give yourself time to figure out parking and settle in before we get started.During Your Appointment:I’ve got you covered with complimentary drinks (juice boxes, tea, water) and snacks (lollipops, chips, granola bars, and more).
For longer sessions, feel free to take a break and grab a bigger meal from one of the many nearby restaurants or cafés.
You’re welcome to bring something to keep yourself entertained! Some clients knit, crochet, read, or listen to music while getting tattooed - it’s all about what helps you feel comfortable.
If you have any other questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help and can’t wait to create something special with you!
